Dr. Odom earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1983. He completed his residency at Richland Memorial Hospital where he served as chief resident in 1987. He completed his board certification in 1989 and remains current in his board certification.
Special Interests
His special interests include painful menses, abnormal uterine bleeding, uterine fibroids, pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, endometriosis, and minimally invasive hysterectomy and minimally invasive fibroid procedures such as Acessa. He is one of the original members of Palmetto Health Baptist Hospital’s committee for robotic surgery and one of the most experienced gynecologic robotic surgeons in Columbia.
